Forecast

So, I was going through my camera and found this picture. It does the "wet" day more justice than my iphone. Now you can really get the idea about how miserable and wet it was.
Still not sure wherever she had to be was worth it.....

100% Chance of Rain

So this morning as I was driving to work, I saw this crazy lady.
And this wasn't some little rain storm.
There were some definite buckets being dumped from the skies.
I hope wherever she had to be was SUPER important,
because being cold and wet all day really aren't worth it to me.

Listen

I sat on some babies a few weeks ago and just remembered these fun pictures. We went for a wagon ride. Although Stinky Pete is way too big for the wagon, so she just cruised around on my Pink Cadillac bike.

I love this picture....
The Bear refused to sit down. She just stood there holding on,
without a care in the world (including falling out).
Eugene told me that he listens and she doesn't, and how he is a good boy.

Can't you just see how good of a boy he is?!

Flying down the driveway entertained them for hours.
I'm such a good sitter of babies!

Lookee, lookee

These are my NEW eyes.
Aren't they pretty?! I love them.... mostly I love waking up and just going about my day. Not worrying about glasses or contacts all the time. But I do have to admit, it is still weird. I have to pause and remember, oh yeah I can see.
(And please ignore the hair across my forehead, I have no control of my hair)

With a "g h"

Went to this.... on Friday night.

LOVED IT! LOVE HER!

Heather McDonald was suppose to be the opening act, but I do have to say Guy Branum didn't disappoint. He puts the "Manatee in Humanity."

I just love Guy's stance.

'Had to have been an elephant - probably named Ashleigh (always with a "g h" at the end).'

Guy hugged me and then said I was gorgeous!
Reminded me of the girl on the cruise who said I was "f-ing adorable!"

(Confused as to why women and gay men think so highly of me and straight men make no comments -- what gives?!)

Chelsea signing my book.

It was nice to get so close and actually say hi, but that was the limit -- got to keep this area clear and the line moving. No pictures "with" her only "of" her.

Drunken Rage

It's summer again and I of course am enjoying the wild and crazy people at the USANA concert series. I missed the first show because it rained. But I wasn't going to miss Time McGraw.

The usual crowd was there -- mini skirts, tube tops, and lots of cowboy boots. (Which really makes no sense... I was in flip-flops and shorts and thought I would die from heat, if I had on boots I for sure would have passed out).

This lady happens to be on Barbara's team -- the grandma Carma pants and "lace" boots were the team uniform that day!

Super Hero

The Californian's came to visit, so we had a little impromptu barbeque. The Bear also was turning 1 the next day, so we decided to eat some cupcakes to celebrate -- really our arms didn't need to be twisted.
The boys had a wild and crazy time. Eugene fell off the trampoline two different times in glorious fashion. The adults just sat around and chatted
(or gossiped, whatever you prefer to call it).

Eugene, Boogers, and The Pickle -- I mean Batman, Spiderman, and the Evil Black Spiderman

In the Hood

This is the window above the table in Olive Garden where I was trying to enjoy my lunch. Every time a car drove past I had to duck for fear of being shot.
I think I need to start dining in more respectable neighborhoods
-- rather than West Valley!
(And you'd think Olive Garden could afford to get that fixed sooner rather than later. Not sure a bullet hole in your window attracts a lot of business. Then again, maybe it does).

Finale

Ok, so I know I have dragged out this holiday posting for too long. It was just going to be over a week, then I got busy and forgot. Whatever -- just be happy I posted!

Anyway, back to Washington.....
We drove to Spokane a day before my flight home to spend a couple hours sight-seeing.

The River Park still attracted my attention. It was a beautiful day.

This is a shot from the Tram Ride over the Spokane Falls.
It was beastly hot inside the car and freaked me out with all the stopping and bouncing. Well, and the windows were foggy so you couldn't really see out them and there was no way I was going to stand up.

Runner statues.
Apparently there is a BIG marathon here, who knew?!
(Well, my dad new, but he lives in the vicinity so that doesn't count).

I didn't get to play on the wagon, just snap a quick shot as we drove past.
The handle of the wagon is a slide... how cool is that?!

Strange Occurrences

Some weird things started happening....

Eugene's ear swelled up (the picture doesn't do it justice, it was HUGE).

Stinky's Pete's tongue turned black...

Then Eugene's tongue turned blue....

I blame Washington!
