Getting older isn't always so glamorous, but when you get to spend your birthday with two other people it makes it a little more bearable. The Pickle's birthday was on the 10th, but since he was only turning 2 and didn't know the difference, E decided to do a big bash to include all of us. Three fabulous cakes were laid out with more candles than I want to admit. And since each cake was completely different, obviously I had to get a piece of each one. Too bad later I was feeling the sugar high and wanted to rip my hair out. In the end the entire weekend was great. I spent a couple of days shopping, although I really don't think I got very much. Oh wait, I did get a new fabulous purse (we won't discuss the price, just remember it is fabulous!) I spent loads of time with Stinky Pete, Eugene (although I'm not sure I approve of that nickname) and the Pickle. And the Pickle even liked me and didn't run to his mom every second. Oh yeah, and my dad cut down a pine tree in the front yard. The Pickle and I watched from the front steps waiting for some hug catastrophe to happen. It didn't!
