After a rest in Butt(e), Montana -- actually we didn't even drive into Butt(e) we stayed on the outskirts in Rocker, Montana. Which is an ok place, but just so you know... make sure and take shampoo with you. Seriously, what hotel in this day and age doesn't at least have a tiny bottle of shampoo?! Motel 6 in Rocker doesn't.
Anyway, we had a long drive still to go. But we did manage to stop and enjoy these -
This is the tractor I want. The exact one. Someday....Oh, and funny story about the tractor store. As I was perusing the racks of clothes, someone pages Mike Rowe. I immediately perk up and start frantically scanning for that amazing, hilarious man. No such luck. Then my mom apparently said she heard them page "The Dirty Jobs Guy" and I again started searching. If a new Dirty Jobs airs about the John Deere store in Missoula, I'll be pissed that I was there and didn't get to meet Mike Rowe.
That would have been AWESOME!
After Missoula, we drove and drove, then wandered around Main Street in Couer d'Alene.
I found some great jewelry and saw these cute little statues.
