I'm just sitting at work thinking, should I post something today? Then I realized I have had a very dull week since the last posting. I ended up with another dreadful cold. This time it included a sore throat, which was not a nice change from the last cold. And since I was on antibiotics twice in the last month I decided I would avoid getting on them once more. Instead I downed throat lozenges like candy and whined my way through the day. I'm not sure why I have been cursed with numerous colds this year and choose to blame it on the flu shot. (Now I know it isn't responsible, but the only other thing to blame it on is The Pickle or Eugene, and they don't deserve that!)
In other news, I've spent hours (and I'm not even exaggerating this time) preparing for a court hearing today. And the guy didn't even have the decency to show up. He told me he would fight me and that I would look "silly" at court. Then he can't even find the time to show up and prove me wrong. Now, I would prefer to not have to fight this battle - court excites me with all the power and control, but it also makes me anxious and sweaty. I do not need anxiety at this time (or excessive sweat for that matter) in my life :) Anyway, the judge comes and says, we can continue or we can enter a default - my attorney said default. Who's looking silly now?!
