Deathgrip...

So I was driving home the other night (and it was very late for an old lady like me) and something was on the wipers. I couldn't tell what it was, but I turned the wipers on and the thing didn't disappear - it just hung onto the wipers as they moved.

I stopped at the store (for groceries not because of the bug - seriously did you think I would make a random stop over a bug?!) and figured out it was a Katydid. I figured it would just fly away while I was shopping.

Nope, I came out of the store - about an hour later (remember it was late, so I couldn't think of what I needed so I aimlessly wandered for a LONG time, don't judge me!) - and the bug had crawled to the middle of the windshield. It didn't look like it had any intention of leaving.

I got in the car and turned on the wipers again and it just casually walked to the side of the windshield where the wipers couldn't get it. And then it crawled up the door and I couldn't see it any further. (Don't panic, I checked the windows twice to make sure they were up so it couldn't get in an attack me).

And then, I arrived home and got out of the car and guess what? There was that stupid bug just sitting on top of the car. Even after I had sped (remember, it was late, so we can all assume I was tired and just wanted to be in bed) down the freeway.

So I walked in the house and went to bed. It was my mom's car anyway, so she'll have to deal with it tomorrow.
