Stinky Pete is off-track from school, so I told her we would go play. And generally my heart breaks when I see Eugene and he yells "bye mom" and runs to get his shoes, so he came along for the day. We didn't start out too well as we had some check cashing issues (that took far too long for any one's taste, let alone someone with young kids).
After some lunch, we eventually made it to Gardner Village and got our wandering (and shopping) on. Stinky Pete got a spider ring... just what she needs for her Spiderella Halloween Costume. Eugene got a football.... which he is an expert at throwing and catching.
And we enjoyed some relaxing time watching the ducks and occasional fish.
